Balondemu Godfrey is a practicing Advocate specializing in mining, project financing, taxation, banking and finance, mergers and acquisitions. He is a founding Partner at Branmark Advocates (a Commercial Law Firm in Kampala), and doubles as the Managing Partner/CEO of the firm. He holds a Master of Laws degree (Natural Resource), Post graduate Diploma in Legal Practice, Post Graduate Diploma in Project Planning and Management, and a Bachelor of Laws degree.
His practice focuses on Corporate & Commercial transactions, undertaking due diligence, structuring exploration, joint venture agreements, investment contracts and tax planning. He is a member of several Professional bodies including: the Uganda Law Society, the East Africa Law Society, and the World Association of Mining Lawyers.
